Photo shows foundations of stone walls on a grassy hillside. Beneath the hill, a low plain is marked out by farm fields. It will be hard to see in the low resolution image on Bluesky, but beyond the fields is a winding creek and behind that a densely populated island. The sky is full of grey clouds.

From my experiment, a lower aperture works better since I was only focusing on the castle.

-Canon EOS 100D
-F/16
-1/125s
-ISO 200
-12mm with a wide angle lens.
-Taken around 12:30

-Brighten the sky and increased the contrast in the foreground.
-Increased colouration in the grass and the castle.
-Changed the background to a greyer blue with light levels.

This was an experimental shoot with low aperture and a wide angle lens. Most of my shoots are intended with the camera placed low to the ground to increase scale.

-Used a mono mixer and increase contrast in the background for the clouds to appear more clearly.
-Cropped the bottom of the image to have the sky the main focus.
-Adjusted light levels to brighten the grass.

A factor I wanted to try out was to combine a wide angle lens with a 16:9 ratio in my camera settings. I stuck with 4:3 with my other types of shoots, felt like a good change.

The castle was my intended photoshoot, the insects were a good addition. I planned to redo this shoot since my old project. With new glass lens to use combined with a different ratio, this shoot went well.
