Var vikingen Halfdan fra Vestegnen i virkeligheden en kvinde? Den unge viking Halfdan med filede ridser på fortænderne, der levede på Vestegnen for 1.200 år siden, var måske ikke en mand, men derimod en kvinde. Nu er en gymnasieklasse meget tæt på at løse mysteriet.
