In October of 2014, I rescued a six month old kitten who was dumped to fend for herself. A year and a half later, she's now one of the sweetest cats in the history of cats.

Halloween was never a "bad" holiday for me, I was always just neutral about it. Something about rescuing a black cat, especially since I rescued her in October of last year, makes me appreciate the holiday more than I was expecting.
