The NE corner of my QTH, where my #HamShack sits just on the other side of that window. Note the gutter and downspout. The center conductor of “Ant 2” coming from FTdx3000 & VersaTuner is connected to this downspout about a meter above the ground. The shield of same connects to an on-ground counterpoise that runs from here to the NE corner of the lot. It presents an excellent match where FT8 and 160m meet… mysteriously.
Same NE corner of house, but tilted up to see an #EdFong jpole antenna at almost 50 feet. It’s a #DXEngineering carbon fiber telescoping mast. It has six Mastrand guys. It’s RG213 all the way up. That antenna serves APRS W0MHR-2. Just below the jpole there’s a pulley, used to raise the tip of an 80m quarter wave nearly-vertical that I jerry-rigged to the #DXCommander
