2) I'll give Renner's Hansel a pass cause it's not a 1:1 analogue for T1 or T2 Diabetes, it's just 'fantasy diabetes' and at least they had him on-screen taking needles

1) I watched the extended cut and the gore is pretty fun and there's enough manic energy here that I get Adam McKay's comparison to Evil Dead 2

A stupid, stupid film - that is refreshingly honest about what it wants to achieve.
The plot is paper-thin, the characters predicable, but the actors are having fun, and there's just enough of everything that it never gets boring. #filmsky
