The glue you use for gluing a hardcover is PVA (like Elmers glue) - it hardens up fast in terms of making your elements hard to move but takes 2 days to cure. Making a hardcover is not difficult and doesn't take a long time. The time is in the drying.

The instructor had made the marbled fabric we got to use for our covers. They were really nifty pieces and each different. He also provided the cover strips and paper and glue. I was quite tired when I got home but I like my journal book. I hadn't done that technique before. #hardcover #covers
