"I'm not even sure you're the right person to ask about this!" Geraldus whines and lifts his tankard, taking a few big gulps of his ale. "Why wouldn't I be?" I ask in a chuckle, turning to face him properly, leaning on the bar with one elbow. "Because … well… I mean…" "Oh, stop stuttering about and spill it!" I groan. "I'm in love with your brother!" Geraldus bursts out, slapping his hand over his mouth in the next moment. I blink a few times, my brain playing catch-up with what he just said. "Rolim?" I guess. "No!" Geraldus huffs. "Gods, no… your twin is sweet and all… but I'm talking about Vesryn." "Right", I mutter. Having a half-brother who isn't a mad necromancer is still new to me, causing me to sometimes even forget our family ties. "So what's the problem then?" I ask, reaching for one of the sandwiches once our mixed platter arrives, taking a hearty bite of it.
