Warm brown culottes with big inverted box pleats are hanging on a hanger in the sun.

I am wearing the culottes with a yellow T-shirt. My hands are in the pockets.

I am wearing the culottes but they are pale yellow.

So #garmentsewing wise I am sewing for a mate and have also been toiling the #helensclosetwinslow culottes. They need to come in an inch or so at the waist but otherwise pretty good. I dyed my toile truffle brown and now I think they'll be a great casual housework wear.

I am wearing a pair of apparently brown wrap pants (the brown is an amalgam of 3 colours close up) which honestly need a better press but whatever. They're full length and v wide.

Back view really hammers home just how wide.

The tie straps, and you can see the fabric better which is a very silky cotton in stripes of coral, mustard and aqua

One French seamed crotch if you please (amazed I pulled this off)

#helensclosetwinslow wrap view! This was a length of quite weird, very lightweight fabric and I have enough to make a floaty matching blouse. I loved making these and even French seamed the inseam and crotch, given that the make itself was such an easy thing to whip up!
