The #HellraiserRemake is the film I’ve spent the past twenty years waiting for. As a child, I would envision myself as killers like #GhostFace. As an adult - I would envision myself as a killer’s victim being eviscerated (after seeing the original #Hellraiser). Those were sad days for Terry. Ⓐ
Also in the #HellraiserRemake, we see the much beloved #Chatterer cenobite looking AWESOME and getting REALLY physical (considering it usually stands around and does virtually nothing in the earlier #Hellraiser films). I can’t believe I’m saying this - but I was VERY pleased with its new look! Ⓐ
Kudos to #JamieClayton - until today, I couldn’t imagine a #LeadCenobite who was female and didn’t look/sound like #DougBradley. But Clayton’s #Priestess looks and sounds AWESOME - and she is a powerful/frightening presence. If they do a sequel, she MUST be in it! #HellraiserRemake Ⓐ
Saw the #HellraiserRemake - and LOVED it. I was RELIEVED that they didn’t use the same plot and characters as the original (though it retains many of its other elements). I also LOVED how (in the remake) there’s more to the summoning of the cenobites than simply pleasure/pain. Ⓐ
