John's hand is outstretched, and at the palm of his fungus infested hand he holds two small figures: Noah Ikumelo (his son, a Black teen holding a cricket bat over his shoulder) and the Golden Boy (a glowing golden ghost boy who is John's dead twin brother from the womb). Looming behind John is his friend Ray Monde, his head bleeding from when he was attacked, his robe is imprinted with headlines talking about the AIDS crisis. A ribbon is tied around Ray's neck in the shape of the AIDS ribbon. Behind Ray are photos and magazines being burned and destroyed, along with a pair of keys.

Young John Constantine has a bruise on his eye, his twin brother the Golden Boy places a cloth against the bruise. Goldie says "You know, you're not as bad as everyone says you are." John smirks and says "Heh well, you're not as good as everyone thinks you are." His twin smiles.
The twins burst out laughing. We see several photos of them growing up together. A locket with a picture of all three Constantine siblings, John, Cheryl and the Golden Boy is amongst the pictures.
