DYK some 19thC men, such as #JohnStuartMill (d.1873), #HenryBlackwell (d.1909), & #RobertDaleOwen (d.1877) yielded #coverture through prenuptial contracts w/their wives. But their documents had no legal weight. The men were merely making contracts w/themselves.
