The study revealed that among other things, the majority of alligator sex is gay. Following is a chart with a breakdown of mounting behavior among the aligators over 3 years. Males mounting females hovered between 16 and 25 %. Females mounting males hovered between 8 and 11 %. Male on Male type 1, hovered between 34 and 45 %. Male on Male type 2, hovered between 26 and 28 %. Female on Female hovered between 1.6 and 2.4 %.
