Name: Shisuai Sumi Tattoo alchemy hero: Chromatech Gender: male Class 1B Age: 17 Height: 5’7 Quirk: Chromatic alchemy: Chromatophores in place of the melanin in the skin enable controlled changing of skin color and patterns at will. Every single chromatophore cell sends and receives information from the brain for precise designs formed or drawn almost anywhere appearing on the skin surface. Depending on the design of a texture or device, the quirk changes the nature of whichever limb to function like said device or element appearing as tattoo art. The more complex the device, the more mental focus is required and potential for burnout can happen. Bio: Shisuai Sumi is the first generation with a quirk from his family since his ancestors with similar facsimile quirks of his own. His quirk manifested a few weeks after birth when his parents nearly had a freak out at their son’s skin with octopus-like textures derived from a plush toy nearby. His parents were quite supportive in helping Shisuai grow into and control his quirk growing up. However midway through middle school, a rift formed gradually between him and his parents as to his future in society. They were disapproving of him wanting to pursue hero work as a career preferring he looked at non quirk careeers. Before graduating, he managed to win a paid scholarship to UA, but he had to take the entry exam for the hero course like everyone does. He successfully got into 1B and is an established student hero with some internships and a sports festival participation. Personality: Mainly genuinely expressive when with his friends and classmates at UA and is calm most often. When in hero classes, he’s determined in participating with everyone and pushing limits of his quirk ability. A bit cheeky in interacting with close friends too. His parents occasionally contact him to “wish him well”, he feels the shallow insincerity from them each time.
