A beach of sentimental value to us…it is hidden, entrance unmarked from the road. And the reveal at the end of the steep path down to it is phenomenal. Seastacks, rocks, driftwood, the occasional seal and us. Sigh. Perfection.

A small, secluded beach cove with weathered driftwood scattered across pale sand. The shoreline curves gently where calm blue water meets the beach, creating small waves that lap at the sand. Dense green vegetation, including tall grasses and shrubs, frames the upper portion of the beach. Several pieces of bleached driftwood of various sizes lie strewn across the sandy area, some appearing quite large and gnarled. A few bare tree branches extend into the scene from the vegetation. The water appears clear and peaceful, with some green algae or seaweed visible near the waterline. The overall scene has a natural, undisturbed quality typical of a quiet coastal area.
