A wooden box with open lid. The tops of bottles can just be seen peeping up over the edge. Four glass medicine bottles stand in front of the box. One contains a red liquid, one some white powder and a third has a yellow liquid in it.

#HistPharm people: help!

Is there something in a 1930s/40s mental hospital, that would render someone unable to speak, but then dissipate enabling conversation? Hypnotic or sedative? Something like somnifen

Hoping for swarm support: Has anybody access to "The War Budget"? - I am interested in the December 30th issue 1915: 220. Thanks a lot and a mossy 2015! #sphagnum #dressingmaterial #histnursing #histmed #histpharm

A small rectangular wooden box with brass coloured weights in a variety of shapes. There is a size key at the size indicating that the object is about 10cm long.

Another #EYATiny. This is a little set of brass pharmacy weights. The tiny amounts of ingredients needed to make certain medications required the tiniest weights. The smallest would be grains, drams and scruples
