Daytime scene at a wet street intersection with moderate traffic in a large city during a period of winter snow showers; although there was very little accumulation in this neighborhood, the flurries were fun and had a vibe; one-hundred year old brick buildings with fire escapes and decorative frieze details line the other side of the avenue which, at the time these buildings were constructed, had an elevated subway track all the way down; now it is underground; several cars, including a yellow taxi cab, pass on the slick roadway as the wind blows the snow flurries at them; at the corner, one of the historic mixed-use buildings has an old-school diner; we do not know how old it is, but it is family-operated and has that retro atmosphere with pictures of silver screen stars of the past and is known for its omelettes.
