See Holgate Windmill on the BBC’s Country File at 6.15pm this evening.
If you’d like to buy a hand-printed linocut print of Holate Windmill, I have a couple in my online shop.

This morning, I’ve been working in my studio to the sound of Holgate Windmill's sales turning. The #Windmill will be featured on Sunday’s episode of #CountryFile. How exciting is that!

Pen and watercolour sketch of a postbox, with a knitted wool cover on the top, in front of a low brick wall with iron railings on top. The knitted cover has three people and a windmill incorporated into the design, along with a row of triangular flags or bunting on the edging.

Postbox with a knitted hat. Found on a walk into York, in Holgate, by the entrance to St Paul's Square. Some wooly folk posting a letter with Holgate windmill in the background.

Pencil drawing of a windmill grinding floor. At the top, large metal gear wheels and a pair of wooden chutes that feed grain into wooden boxes or hoppers above two cases containing pairs of grind stones. There are sacks on the floor to the right.
Hoppers, horses and vats on the stone floor of Holgate Windmill, York. I learned a whole new world of terminology to describe the grinding stones of a windmill when I drew this a short while ago. The mill dates from 1769-70.
