They don't need to suspect it was as bad as it actually was. Ste could have died, and lots of people wish they could have apologized before it was too late. Even a minor fight would have made waiting to find out what happened to Ste worse for Lucas.

Ok so #Holllyoaks loves them a long range villian. And of all the ones ive seen Carter is the most successful. Like I legit have to remind myself hes a conversion creep because hes actually a decent guy away from that.
