If you've followed me for any length of time, you know I go back & forth on whether #HollywoodNights or #NightMoves is the greatest #song in the Western Canon. It's for sure 1 of them.
I think if I had to pick 1 single greatest song ever in the Western Canon - and I know how this sounds - it’s #HollyWoodNights from #BobSeger and his #SilverBulletBand.

The album art shows Seger set against the flat, dull city skyline that could only be Los Angeles, and he’s wearing the most flamboyantly, aggressively 1970s jacket, hairstyle and facial hair anyone’s ever attempted to pull off. It’s like Farrah Fawcett meets Grizzly Adams, and Bob hilariously looks simultaneously quite youthful/young and also quite aged/weathered, the joke being that jeez the 1970s were hard on folks, weren’t they? And they were.
