Waialua and Hale'iwa evacuation area map

The north shore of #Oahu received more than a foot of rain overnight, causing intense flooding. The National Weather Service issued a #FlashFloodEmergency for #HonoluluCounty, due to an imminent dam collapse. Evacuations are underway in Waialua and Hale'iwa.

#NWS-Honolulu has issued a #FlashFloodWarning due to #DamFailure on the #KaukonahuaStream below #WahiawaDam on #Oahu in #HonoluluCounty until 1:15 PM HST.

Nearest areas downstream from the dam are #Waialua & #Haleiwa.
