Hollander POTD Mark Jackson. Action Jackson was star St Johns PG. Drafted 18th in 87 by hometown by NY, won ROY + was all-star in 89. Had ups and downs in NY but rebounded to be key piece of 90s IND. Had a lot of flair on court that some liked & some didn't. Sane w/his TV work. #NBA #Hoophistory

Bonus Hollander POTD Kevin Duckworth. Big Man from Eastern Illinois was drafted by SA in 86 but traded a few months later. Lost a lot weight + was effective scorer for POR (2x all-star). Slowed down by 91 + lasted til 97 as a backup. Died in 08 due to heart issues. RIP. #NBA #Hoophistory

Hollander POTD Rick Barry. NJ kid played at Miami, was drafted 4th by GS in 65. Won ROY and scored 35 ppg in 2nd yr then jumped to ABA for 5 yrs. Returned to GS in 72 + was great for rest of the decade. As noted in this bio, was controversial at times. HOFer + Top 75 guy. #NBA #Hoophistory
