Saw some fab Q&As at #HorrorConUK yesterday: Ralph Ineson and Neil Maskell being my faves. I enjoyed the Soska sisters too, and what I saw of Ti West (I had a train to catch). Props to the cineliterate interviewers, @tonyearnshaw.bsky.social and Darrell Buxton – always one of this event's strengths.

A Dalek/chimpanzee hybrid: a chimp's head sits on a Dalek body. At the front, two fingers peep out of a mass of fur, replacing the Dalek's weapon. Blood seeps from the chimp's eyes, mouth and right ear. A price tag on the desk says that the item costs £60. In the background are more strange creations, including a human skull with horns and grey hair. All the items were made by The Hanging Skull, who you'll find on Instagram and Facebook - @thehangingskull.
Spent Saturday at #HorrorConUK, and... well, what do you get if you cross a Dalek with a chimp? The answer is this nightmare (a creation of The Hanging Skull).
When I went back later it had been sold, so someone's got some explaining to do to their better half. They'd only popped out for some milk.
