On the final day of #Horrormas 🎬🍿 I got to see a true Christmas classic and a movie I’ve cherished all my life since I saw it as a kid, GREMLINS (1984) 📽️

On Day #24 of #Horrormas 🎬🍿 we saw a Canadian classic, the OG, the often imitated but never replicated, BLACK CHRISTMAS (1974). This movie gets better every time I see it i wouldn’t change a thing. Cult status 📽️
I came into Day #23 of #Horrormas 🎬🍿 with optimism since I had heard good things about CHRISTMAS EVIL (1980) but I was sadly disappointed. Some of the commercials on Tubi were funnier than the jokes in the movie and it was frustrating to imagine the potential of what this movie could have been.📽️
On Day #22 (i counted day #20 twice) of #Horrormas 🎬🍿 I watched KRAMPUS (2015) with Adam Scott and Toni Collette who I feel are too good to be involved with a bad movie like this but maybe they owed someone a favor
On Day #20 of #Horrormas 🎬🍿I watched THE WOLF OF SNOW HOLLOW (2020) staring Jim Cummings (who also wrote and directed) Riki Lindhome❗️and Robert Forster‼️
This movie completely caught me off guard and is one of my favourites from this month’s #Horrormas so far. 📽️
On Day #20 of #Horrormas 🎬🍿 I saw EYES WIDE SHUT (1999) which is a visually stunning picture with a haunting score, but after seeing it a bunch of times over the last 25 years I still can’t decide if I actually like it. I think now more than ever I do not care what happens to these characters🤷♂️📽️
Day #19 of #Horrormas 🎬🍿was a first time watch for me of TO ALL A GOODNIGHT (1980) 📽️ and I didn’t hate it. Had just the right amount of cheesy slasher fodder, bad dialogue, horny characters and sex. Looking forward to tomorrow’s film since it’s a favourite.
Like I said, #Noirvember was great and I’m having fun this month with #Horrormas so I will keep the momentum setting a theme for each month of 2026.
January will be #FaceTheMusic 📽️🎼 highlighting musicals, music documentaries, biopics, films about dance, fictional bands - all music related films!
On Day #18 of #Horrormas 🎬🍿 i watched DON’T OPEN TILL CHRISTMAS (1984), a film that’s fun to watch with friends. I saw it alone.
On Day #17 of #Horrormas 🎬🍿I saw RARE EXPORTS (2010) and it was a goddamn delight! I cried, i laughed, i was slightly tense, and a tad annoyed for a second but overall this was a breath of fresh air compared to last night’s pick. Highly recommend 📽️

On Day #16 of #Horrormas 🎬🍿 I made the mistake of watching SILENT NIGHT, DEADLY NIGHT 2 (1987) which was a waste of time.
Half the film is just replayed scenes from the first movie. Cut out those scenes and what you have left is a short film, but at least it’s watchable.
P2: proof that the male loneliness epidemic can be terrifying, literally. #Horrormas vibes.

On Day #14 of #Horrormas 🎬🍿 i watched David Cronenberg’s RABID (1977) starring Marilyn Chambers. The Christmas theme is pretty light in this one but it’s a great movie despite the weird gimmick and the shoestring budget.
On Day #13 of #Horrormas 🎬🍿 I watched the OG cult classic SILENT NIGHT, DEADLY NIGHT (1984). There’s a reason why this movie spawned 4 sequels, a remake, a reboot and was the subject of several documentaries. I hadn’t seen it in over 20 years and i found it better than I remembered.
For Day #12 of #Horrormas 🎬🍿 I watched BETTER WATCH OUT (2016), a pretty good thriller that will keep you yelling at your screen and reaching for your anti-anxiety meds. It was fun and the young cast gave a surprisingly good performance.
On Day #11 of #Horrormas 🎬🍿 I watched the absolute weirdest Christmas movie I’ve ever seen, so far, but then again we’re not even halfway through the month yet!

For Day #10 of #Horrormas 🎬🍿 I watched BLACK CHRISTMAS (2006) a bad remake of the good 1974 film with the same title but I still like it for some reason. This movie doesn’t bring anything new to the table since it pretty much just copies the original so I’d recommend seeing the first one instead
Was really surprised on Day #8 of #Horrormas how good DAY OF THE BEAST (1995) was and I think it will definitely get added to my yearly Christmas movie rotation from now on. Highly recommend.
Forgot to post yesterday that day #7 of #Horrormas was the very goofy and to me not really scary JACK FROST (1997). Honestly I would have preferred to watch the Michael Keaton film
On Day #6 of #Horrormas 🎬🍿 i watched I, MADMAN (1989) which was incredibly frustrating because the premise of this film had so much potential but the story didn’t explore very deeply into the personality of the characters and I was left let down like eating a sugar-free dessert
SANTA’S SLAY (2005) starring WWE superstar Bill Goldberg was funnier than i expected for Day #5 of #Horrormas 🎬🍿

Watched Oliver Stone’s THE HAND (1981) starring the amazing Sir Michael Caine for Day #3 of #HorrorMas 🎬🍿
I did not know it was an Oliver Stone film nor was I aware that Caine was the lead. A nice surprise and I truly enjoyed it
