4鉢のうち3つは、下半分の根張りがほとんどなかった。どこかの段階で、コガネ幼虫かミミズか何かに根を食われたのかもしれない。鉢の中にはもういなかったけど…
それでも平然と新芽を出してくるホスタ、頑丈な生き物🌱

A hosta is growing in a rock garden. It has green and yellow variegated leaves and it trails over the large grey rocks. Behind it, to the right, is a plant with silvery blue foliage and to the left is a low growing plant with dark green leaves.
This was one of the last plants left in the rock garden in late autumn.
