Did John D. Loudermilk really earn US #OneHitWonder honors for himself? Yeah, sort-of… He did have a pre-Hot 100 hit in 1957 under the name Johnny Dee, but since we're only looking at the #Billboard #Hot100, which started the week of August 4, 1958, he qualifies… I think. #OneHitWondered
Remembering singer/songwriter John D. Loudermilk, #BOTD in 1934. His self-penned “Language Of Love” spent 3 weeks on the US #Billboard #Top40 in 1961, peaking at #32. The lighthearted, country-pop single was Loudermilk’s only #Top40 hit during the #Hot100 era. #JohnDLoudermilk #OneHitWondered

The Echoes followed “Baby Blue” with “Sad Eyes (Don’t You Cry),” which also charted on the #Billboard #Hot100, but didn’t match the #Top40 success... topping out at #88. “Baby Blue” has remained their signature song and the reason oldies fans still remember ‘em. #TheEchoes #OneHitWondered

For sure... If we're gonna start listing #1 country hits by Buck Owens, we're gonna be doing a lot of typing. Because of his TV shenanigans, some overlook his massive catalog.
As to crossing over onto the #Billboard #Hot100 pop chart, "Act Naturally" never made it onto the chart.

Sami Jo’s only other single to chart on the #Billboard #Hot100 was “It Could Have Been Me,” which peaked at #46, just a bit outside the #Top40. #SamiJo #OneHitWondered
