They’re going down the stretch one more time in Manhattan, and Georgetown takes a 48-45 lead into the final 3:57.

That’ll do it from The Pavilion, where Villanova’s 15-point win was nowhere near as close as the final score let on. The Wildcats were in another gear after halftime, dominating Georgetown by the final of 66-51.

They’re going down the stretch at The Finn, and Villanova is 3:22 away from cashing in perhaps its best second half of Big East play and getting a much-needed win to keep pace with UConn and St. John’s in the conference standings.

Well, that was way too close for comfort for everyone involved.

#UConn survives, 64-62, but take nothing away from Georgetown. That was a hell of an effort from the #Hoyas, who I’ll see again Wednesday at Villanova.

Nice old-school Big East battle here.

And Mack answered right back with a three in the right corner. Cooley’s going to burn his last timeout here, with 46 seconds to go and the #Hoyas likely fouling down four.
