At St Laurence School, students involved in #HtFMeUs devised a tutor activity & briefing, sharing the Clein family & 'Bridging Generations' theme. 'We also had the unbelievable privilege of one of our Yr 13 students sharing his great grandmother’s incredible story of surviving the Holocaust'

Wonderful to hear how HMD is being marked at LMA. Mr B has reported how well assemblies are going & today ran a preparatory session with group exploring Bernie's #HtFMeUs journey, w/ great bio poem outcomes. On Friday I will be delighted to support the group with a Bridging Generations workshop day.
This HMD, #HtFMeUs thanks Angela, Rob, Bernie, Louisa, Natalie & Noemie for 'Bridging Generations' & supporting our project, schools & communities.
We remember the Malenicky, Lewin, Federmann, Salomonson & Koenig families, & the stories that help us learn, remember, challenge hate & be kind.

Excited to be working with 6 #HtFMeUs schools today, collaborating remotely to deepen, enrich & apply their project Holocaust & family knowledge to the #HMD 'Bridging Generations' theme.

Wonderful to have 17 school groups join today's online #HtFMeUs project launch. Great historical skills on display regards the maps, RAGs completed thoughtfully & some authentic & powerful bio poems written.

Today saw final #HtFMeUs online Q&A of 2025 - #AskBernie was fascinating mix of student insight, curiosity & care, there was a few tears, pauses, smiles & laughter as we reflected on family, power of words, refugees, Buchenwald, sewing, Hanukkah & more. Thanks Bernie & the 16 schools who joined us!

It's a hefty edition (45 pages) showcasing a range of schools engagement, young peoples efforts, teacher insights & our families' reflections..
Super grateful to the 14 #HtFMeUs project schools, & to Robert Rinder MBE who joined today's #AskRobert online session.
We explored colour/emotion, relationships, driedels, stones, judges & trials considered narrative (how you tell, not just who), & shared powerful & poignant writing with Rob.
Lovely session raising religious & cultural life awareness w/ students & teachers from 5 #HtFMeUs schools reflecting on Hanukkah: with context specific source work, testimony, dreidels & hanukkiah designs.
