Last week, we had our annual hydrometric training 🏞. Our 20 students got some company during the infiltration and flow velocity measurements, luckily on the other side of the river 👩🏫🐄. Let's see if this visit had an impact on the water quality...🐟💧

Thought I might track velocity with thermal signal below confluence, but #velocimetry working on Tweed upstream of confluence too! A weak signal, but it was there!

Today, we drove our #ARCboat and #ADCP across the Thames and it reported a discharge of 65,536 litres a second.
Then we drove it back again, and it reported 65,536 litres a second.
Not even 1 litre a second difference.
#Hydrometry tech at its best!
