Been a while, but here's the latest on the #hypertrophies front.
#hypertrophies chuggin' along just fine. Pumped the brakes a bit on weight-gain, bit starting to let off a bit as wintery conditions set in.
Back to my usual 180+, but my belts are still on the same notches I left them on from the cut, and I think these #hypertrophies have filled out nicely enough.
Some additional #hypertrophies. Been getting a bit more volume of work on the abs and serratus just incidentally from how much time I've been spending in a tucked lever position, on top of continuing to progress my weighted situps and having added in the sidebends.
Latest #hypertrophies after today's pull-day/pull-up max session. Got 5 and then 10 more pounds on my sternum pull max (ring pull-ups in which my thumbs make contact with my shoulders), now up to BW+75. Backdown of BWx2x12 to the same standard. Followed up with front pulls and inverted clutch curls.
Taking inventory of these, my latest #hypertrophies before my squat max work. Also turned off a couple of settings on my phone camera that were muddying things up a bit more than I could stand.
Got my wide grip ring pullups yesterday up to BW+85 and backed off with BWx15 and then 14; thinking I'll have to start adding weight to the backoffs. Also stepped up the weight on my squatting preacher curls for 105x2x10 after front pulls and before reverse clutch curls. And so, #hypertrophies.
Yep, been putting some weight back on with all the heavy work, I suspect mostly water-weight. Anyway, here's the latest batch of #hypertrophies.
This last week's #hypertrophies, still in recomp, almost two cycles into my modified PPLUL program, feelin' beefy after yesterday's upper session (bench-focused) and Wednesday's lower session (deadlift- focused). Tomorrow's a squatty lower session with powercleans aplenty.
Here's some of the #hypertrophies I captured with an ND32, plus one more with the ND64. Recomp, I think, is going well.
Just got some ND filters for my (new) phone's camera, and while I haven't found this ND64 filter as effective for capturing #hypertrophies as the 32 or 16, it certainly is dramatic.
Okay, last #hypertrophies for a while, I swear. Just wanted to get something after after a well-fed deadlift day before I put my head down and really get the fuck to work.
Not much pump here: rest day yesterday, then pin squats, deadlift, SLDL, weighted situps, and dragonflags today.
Wrapping up the minicut today after a great pull session. Not a major cut by any means, but it put me where I wanted to be alright without any serious loss of anything beyond waist size (and a bit of fluff about the chest). Time to start filling in these #hypertrophies to see what's what.
Nearly done with the cut and keeping the #hypertrophies up reasonably well with this push day and tomorrow's pull day being the end of it. Been seeing the scale under 171 a fair bit, though all my training weigh-ins over the last week have been 171-173. Can't wait to replenish that glycogen.
I don't put much special emphasis on "leg" #hypertrophies, particularly at the bottom of a cut; maybe it shows, but they get some love all the same. Only just getting back to free #squats after focus on paused variations and for the first time since the depth change; will take some getting used to.
#hypertrophies still flat, still coping with #backAbs, but only two more day-fasted rest days (today and Sunday) before I cut lose of the deficit. Probably only *just* going to dip my toe into sub-170 before all's said and done, but I'll be happy enough to restore some fullness and energy.
The state of my #hypertrophies since I've been dipping below 172 over my last push day and pull day. I'll be fasting most of this rest day (until dinner) before my lower day focused on pin squats and deadlift, which is hopefully my last time doing those in a deficit for at least a couple of years.
Feeling flat and hungry on this rest day staring down the barrel of 172 and realizing I haven't posted rear double-bicep in a while, so here's some non-pumped #backAbs #hypertrophies for the sake of my cope. Thinking I'll see the other side of 170 inside of a week, and for the first time since 2021.
#hypertrophies here on this latest pull day after a very fruitful push day. Pretty deep in the deficit, though I haven't seen the other side of 172 just yet.
Jeez, starting to feel this deficit on my pull day, and my forearm's a bit achy around the stitches, so I really only improved on the wide-grip pullups at the start while everything else took a hit. Push day yesterday was much more productive though.
#hypertrophies popping a bit on the cut though.
Grabbed some shots of these pull day #hypertrophies. Got'em popping with the wide ring pullups, then weighted and sternum with my normal grip, front pulls, squatted preacher curls, clutch curls, and pelican curls, each 1-2 sets a piece.
Lots of pressing overhead, dips, planche pushups, and a buttload of triceps shit to make these here #hypertrophies pop today. Will be interesting when the cut really sets in.
Snatching up those #hypertrophies quick as I can. Thinking it's just about time for a mini-cut and try dipping into sub 170lb to see what's what--maybe after tomorrow's deadlifting.
No rest for these #hypertrophies. #RearDelts have proved the major standout of late despite having done no specific work in many months, likely as a result of some very targeted pullup work and heavy barbell curls. Getting #yoked as well as some good synergy going on with the #triceps.
