#MaxEffort #strictCurls for 85, 95, and the 107.5 PR. Microloading was a good call here. Then it was 85x5 and 4 reps for the backdowns.

Probably would have done well to microload this #MaxEffort #LarsenDeadBench here for 205, 215, and a failed 230, but much closer to lockout than last time I attempted that weight. Then it was backdowns of 170x2x5.
Labor (lifting) is entitled to all it creates (strength & hypertrophy)
My best case in point: bsky.app/profile/rmbl...
This is why I predominantly use the baddest synth of them all: the Gameboy.
Always saying this about #ringDips (for more than a decade, incidentally). Recently using rings for #LSitDips (quasi-Gironda-style) to great effect.
It has happened.
#MaxEffort #pinSquats now back up to my best for 295, 315, and the 330 which, while still grindy, was prettier. Also no petellar tendon distress like what I had last month at 325 (which quickly turned out somehow therapeutic in spite of that distress). Then it was backdowns of 265x2x5.
I've finally got a good permanent use for my old #raspberryPi 3B as a headless #MIDI host. Thinking I'll strap it onto my tBox so that my 16n faderbank can talk to other devices over DIN in a #dawless fashion. I imagine this will come in handy for live performance this summer.
#deadPreachers here for the 110x5 PR and then a 95x10 match for my best.
I actually started doing these because I got my Ben Yanes style leg-supported dips (way harder than free dips, which I can do until the cows come home) up to BW+30x18. So I decided to try and accomplish the same torso lean with an L-sit, which is something Bulgarian elbow flare counteracts.
Some ring-loaded overhead #tricepsExtensions here for 55x2x9, which isn't a PR, but is my best overall effort. Then I started doing #LSitDips, which aren't so much for the sake of the L-sit component (maintained best with Bulgarian elbow flare) so much as the Gironda-style forward torso lean.
Top-down #MaxEffort #ringHSPU here at a 2" deficit for BW, BW+5, and then the BW+15 PR managed handily. Secret weapon today was warming up with pin presses from eyebrow level. Then it was backdowns at a 1" advantage for BWx6 and then 5. Won't be able to do backdowns at a good deficit until BW+45x1.
Rep effort here on #deadPreachers for the 105x8 PR and then 90x13 for no PR. No biggie on the latter, because I'll be stepping the top set up to 110 (for which any reps more than 1 will be PRs) and the backdown up to 95 to try and top my best effort of 10 reps. Then it was #deadPilgrims for 55x6.

Again, no nominal progress on the #MaxEffort #seatedPress, and while I do think it's fair to claim some qualitative progress, I probably should have microloaded. At least I got the 140 salvage rep after failing 145 twice. Then after the 105x2x5 backdowns, I managed a backoff #BTNpress for 85x10.
Of course, I have to get my sequencing elsewhere. While obviously LSDJ could be used and have done with it, MIDI has been my preference of late. Also I just happened upon, in my case, a very convenient implementation of ORCA (below), though I'll likely end up predominantly using the NerdSEQ.
The effect is staggering and blurs the line between chipmusic and analog synthesis pretty hard. In this case I'm not using the keyboard for anything except setting the latch on the arpegiator with wide open gates (no steps) and no key-tracking anywhere to bother with, so just a lot of knob-turning.
Tried using my #microKORG as a two-channel mixer with effects tonight, feeding it the #Gameboy #DMG-01. The DMG's L/R outs each going to separate timbres with their own effects, ideally panning one of its 4 sound channels one way and one the other, though sending one up the middle just for kicks.
All wars are ultimately class wars, and so long as war is only waged under the terms of capitalists, it is ultimately waged upon the working class.
