Initially, my decision to apply for IAC membership was driven by global recognition and the professional prestige associated with the MIAC title. However, since becoming a member, I have realized that the true value lies far beyond the designation. I soon realized the practical value of being part of this global community. Access to Acta Cytologica, the Academy’s online webinars, and the opportunity to attend international congresses have become essential tools for my continuous education and diagnostic precision. The connection to a global network of experts has profoundly enriched my diagnostic approach. What began as a step for professional status is now a vital resource for staying at the forefront of cytopathology alongside world-leading experts.
