上條隆志 先生（筑波大学）
30年以上にわたり伊豆諸島において植生の研究に携わってこられたエキスパート。現在は、火山島における噴火後の土壌や微生物を含めた生態系の初期形成過程と長期的変化を調べるプロジェクトや、伊豆諸島の生物多様性保全活動に取り組んでおられます。プレエクスカーションの神津島ツアーでは現地の植物を案内をしてくださいます。

A slow but complex book working with a mixture of harsh and gentle literary textures. The main character is based on a non-fiction trans Spanish conquistador, Antonio de Erauso, born Catalina. I enjoyed it.

スペイン国立研究評議会（CSIC）とバレアレス諸島大学（UIB）の共同研究機関である地中海高等研究所（IMEDEA）のリサーチ・プロフェッサーを務めておられます．ネットワーク理論を用いて，種間の生態学的相互作用に着目しながら，地球規模の環境変化が在来生物群集に及ぼす影響の解明に取り組んでおられます．アナ先生の研究は主に島嶼生態系を対象としており，現在は世界各地の群島を対象とした大型研究プロジェクトを主導されています．
