Poughkeepsie, Kingston, Los Angeles, Gardena, Costa Mesa, Gaithersburg, Bethesda, Herndon, & Washington DC!💫 My IBM information technology career journey has been an incredible experience, from my early formative days back in the 1980s as a VM Development junior programmer running mainframe benchmarks… Followed by a dozen different roles in dev, sales, support, training, and concluding with my current position leading an awesome IT team of Washington Systems Center IBM Z technical experts supporting our clients across the Americas, while managing two state-of-the-art datacenters in Herndon and Poughkeepsie. In the blink of an eye, it’s now 43-years later and I’m overwhelmed with a tremendous sense of gratitude to lBM and my many multi-talented colleagues, business partners, and of course, our fabulous clients!🥰 On Friday, February 28, 2025 I will retire from IBM with an abundance of wonderful memories and lifelong friendships. As you can probably surmise from my first IBM class photo in 1981… Diversity, equality, inclusion, collaboration, creativity, teamwork, and a passion for technology have been a hallmark of IBM’s success throughout my entire career and a key reason that I continued to work for so many years. I’m very proud of everything that my multifaceted IBM teams have accomplished. The future is very bright and very BLUE!!💙 I am eternally optimistic and forever hopeful as I begin my next chapter… Cheers, my friends! FYI: Also on Feb 28th, I will retire from all my social media accounts, except for Bluesky. Social engagement is almost always better done in person, and I look forward to seeing many of you in the flesh, during my post-retirement life.
