Comet 24P/Schaumasse / IC 3392 Galaxy - telescope processed image. 24P/Schaumasse is a Jupiter-family comet with an 8.2-year orbit. Discovered in 1911, its nucleus is about 2.6 km wide—roughly a quarter the height of Mount Everest.
