A group of nine scientists in colourful clothing, all women in their 20s and 30s, sit in two rows on some grey concrete steps. They are smiling at the camera and look happy. Behind the steps are some large, dark green trees; on the right side of the frame, a corner of lawn is visible.
We had a great time attending the ICEP conference in Vilnius this year!
Exciting talks, inspiring conversations, and a fantastic chance to share what we're working on at the @mpib-berlin.bsky.social

๐ซ Still swirling a bit after 2 intense weeks that brought me to Latvia/Lithuania/Italy, between #ICEP2025 and #FINT2025.
Two fairly different conferences in size / topics / crowds. But also like-minded: working hard for the best science, benevolent, and especially caring of young scholars. ๐งก
Had the chance to give my first talk last week at #ICEP2025, on how urban heat waves impact cognition and well-being.
Huge thank you to the organizers and everyone there for the warm welcome and inspiring conversations ๐
Back in Vienna now, where the heat is making the research feel extra real โ๏ธ๐ง
Looking back on exciting 3 days of #ICEP2025 in beautiful Vilnius. So much fun connecting with old & new colleagues in the Environmental Psychology community, exchanging ideas & getting inspired by an immense number of high-quality presentations & posters. ๐ญ
Really enjoyed the #icep2025 conference in Vilnius this week. Astoundingly well organised conference, and a brilliant week of brain boosting discussions. Fabulous!
Fabulous few days in Vilnius for #ICEP2025- great to meet so many folks from the environmental psychology community and chat about their work and @plosclimate.org!
Dr John Jamir Benzon Aruta spoke with clarity on how to evolve #EnvironmentalPsychology by advocating for more diverse perspectives. Read in his own words below ๐
We are grateful to John for his continued collaboration, mentorship and friendship on multiple projects over the years ๐

Join me at poster #72 today at #ICEP2025 ! I'll be presenting results from my first study exploring the role of employers and local authorities in #TDM . Good news - employees largely prefer more effective behaviour change interventions!
Day one of #ICEP2025 (International Conference on #EnvironmentalPsychology) is done, and day two is getting underway! Here are some photos by our colleagues - PhD candidates Silpa Saila Kumar and Brian Wagner - of what the members of our group were up to on Monday:
This was us after finishing our symposium at #ICEP2025 in Vilnius this morning. All presentations dealt with Natural Hazards, mostly with a focus on digital communication tools. Thanks to Leonie, Annalena, Sungju and Karina for your contribution and everyone for the interesting discussion(s)!
Found the most glamorous shoes at #ICEP2025. And they belong to Prof Linda Steg! What a legend.
๐ค Packed room for our symposium on #future thinking at #ICEP2025! Congratulations to Jakob Schuck for a fantastic talk + all speakers, @auroregrandin.bsky.social, @iaojala.bsky.social, C. Of course there's lots of interest in the "Meet the Editor" session with Editor-in-Chief Wesley Schultz. His appeal: check the recent, updated editorial (and the general guidelines) carefully: www.sciencedirect.com/science/arti... #ICEP2025
