On 28 Feb 2025, final outlines of key #AR7 reports were adopted by the IPCC. These outlines track several of the #ICSMCHC recommendations and suggest there will be a significant increase in the coverage of culture & heritage in the AR7's climate change assessment reports.

Culture & heritage have been poorly reflected in IPCC assessments, tho coverage began to improve in the most recently completed assessment cycle (AR6). The 2021 Int'l Co-Sponsored Meeting on Culture, Heritage and Climate Change produced recommendations for improving this in the #AR7.
