Text reads:, "It means a great deal to me to see the women whose stories I encountered during my PhD research honoured through this project. Many of the cases I looked at involved domestic violence, sometimes as a pattern of harm that made people more vulnerable to fatal violence. Too often, these types of deaths go unmarked and unnoticed. To have them included in NUM's memorial map ensures they are remembered not just as victims, but as part of our collective commitment to ending all forms of violence against sex workers."

We have worked with Dr Lucy Neville @drbluestocking.bsky.social, Criminology Lecturer at Southampton Uni to include information from her PhD project that included data about #sexworkers murdered in incidents of #domesticviolence.
