I had a fabulous time over the weekend with friends at #idwcon except for a few minutes on Monday when the fact that it was my father's anniversary, discussions of the (literal) death of the author and the recently revisited death of another author/friend and a total lack of sleep combined to tears
A little bird is telling us that Rob Wilkins has made an appearance at #IDWCon in Aziraphale’s jumper and confirmed that he doesn’t know the exact release date for S3, but expects it in the first quarter of 2026 (also, the Good Omens shop could be up just in a couple of weeks!).
I wish I could have gone to Brazil for #AoIR or even to Cork for #IDWCon. But it was a good decision not to, since the last fortnight here has been exhausting to the point that last night I came home at a reasonable time from the pub after a couple of drinks then accidently fell asleep on the sofa.
The very nice people in the Cork International Hotel have given us a very nice room for the Irish Discworld Convention. Great balcony too! Yay! #iDWcon

Back from #iDWcon and some meetings in Cork (one sorta con related, the other actual work). Tired, but that was a really good few days on many levels. But less driving in heavy rain please!

Hipflasks found in exactly the place we put them that was sensible and out of the way of other stuff we needed the space for. Also, yay, Cork and #iDWcon
Ok, this is super weird. Packing to go to the #iDWcon this morning and I can't find any of my hipflasks. I haven't had to use them in a while, but even the ones that I don't have in normal rotation, not where they're supposed to be, or any where else I have put them before... Annoying and weird.
Checking flights and train all sorted for #IDWCon & Ireland trip and making sure I remembered to sort the extra 5kgs for return trip as there will be extra books & #ClubRockShandy coming home with me 😁
