Louis-Philippe Montour and Karl Wittmer have taken over the TCR points lead in the Honda, after finishing second behind Ryan Eversley and Celso Neto, but ahead of Mason Filippi and Harry Gottsacker, while Preston Brown and Denis Dupont struggled with P11.

Tyler Gonzalez and Eric Powell managed to recover from an early drive-through penalty for contact with David Hampton's Porsche to win the Touring Car class at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. It's the first victory for the Cupra brand in IMSA competition.

Jenson Altzman, third in the standings, came across the line in P7 with Cicero after a drive-through for too many crew members over the wall.
'Daan Arrow' battled for the win, before receiving two drive-throughs for blocking. He and Ward ended up P8.

Jan Heylen collided with his main title contender Jeff Westphal, resulting in a left rear puncture. It dropped the RS1 Porsche of Heylen and Luca Mars to P19 in GS. Sean McAlister and Westphal finished in fifth to close the gap down to 100 points.
