Next stop in the Netherlands was ING’s headquarters in Amsterdam where the group was joined by a string quartet playing a romantic song. The group delivered a large Valentine's Day card & handed out cards to employees. The cards asked ING, ‘Will you be our Valentine or the Villain?’ #INGGlobalAction

Activists in Hilversum kicked off the actions in the Netherlands this morning. They showed off their big broken heart to ING, asking the bank to give us hope for the future by ending their finance in fossil fuel deals. 💔 #INGGlobalAction @milieudefensie.bsky.social

ING also received a special Valentine’s day message from Mozambique about the bank’s financing of Italian oil major Eni who is developing the Coral North FLNG project in conflict-torn Cabo Delgado, Mozambique. #INGGlobalAction

Activists from Urgewald paid visit to the ING office in Berlin to call on the bank to stop financing LNG. #INGGlobalaction

Activists from @re-set.bsky.social kicked off the #INGGlobalaction by delivering a big heart to the Prague ING office. The activists called on ING to cut ties with Czech energy giant EPH. Instead of rapidly closing down the coal plant & mines it is buying it is extending their life times.

Along with @banktrack.bsky.social, we call on ING and all European banks to adopt strong policies to cease providing financial support to companies developing new LNG projects.
