Pancreatic cysts (IPMNs) are seen as a precursor of #pancreaticcancer. However, not all patients need to undergo #surgery. A recent study from 🇯🇵 @en.nagoya-u.ac.jp may help patients with IPMNs to avoid unnecessary surgery. #IPMN

Considering contaminants such as gastric epithelium when dealing with #IPMN at #ROSE 👀. Atypia can be mild. Try to find:

▫️Nuclear membrane irregularities
▫️Inflammation/necrosis
▫️Papillary or small groups
