Even though I am not a plant scientist, I am learning so much and am genuinely happy to be able to remain close to the scientific community and broaden my horizon.

We need strong, science-driven policies to #DefeatMeningitis by 2030 especially in Africa. Great to join @SerumInstIndia at #IPNC2025 to spotlight progress on this front w. Drs Prasad Kulkarni (SII), Milagritos Tapia (@UMCVD) , and Abdulrazaq Habib (@WHO SAGE).

At #IPNC2025, yet another talk about the devastating toll of bacterial meningitis and amazing and wonderful ability of vaccines to protect against this horror.

Here, I won't share the photos of children in the ICU dying or having limbs amputated, etc. But vaccine-hesitant parents should see them.
