First start of the season for the Welshman. He brings a skillset no one else in the squad has receiving the ball in tight spaces and finding the quick progressive passes with one over the top to Delap a highlight - 8/10 #IPSCHE #ITFC
Back playing against another former club and certainly made an impact largely as part of a two pronged Town counter attacking machine. Took his goal very nicely to work space in the box and get his shot away. Easy to forget the work he does pressing too - 8/10 #IPSCHE #ITFC
I hate Chelski but that was a shocking penalty given against them. Guy had already gone to ground & just held out leg for contact. Disgraceful.

Someone come up with a song for this man! His turn and run in the build up to the penalty was something else. Did his defensive work and knows how to time tackles to perfection. It's a joy to watch him play - 8/10 #IPSCHE #ITFC
Back in the team in place of Kalvin Phillips. Doesn't have the pace of the City loanee but read the game really well blocking shots, making tackles. Didn't see as much of the ball as usual as Town looked to go long and got a yellow card after the final whistle- 7/10 #IPSCHE #ITFC
Good work down his side in the build up to the penalty but was also guilty of a poor free kick that allowed Chelsea to counter for the Felix disallowed goal and looked a bit sloppy on a couple of other occasions - 7/10 #IPSCHE #ITFC
Headed everything that came his way away. 6 clearances, all aerial duels won. Had big shoes to fill but is the more natural fit for the back five. One issue he still has is positioning with balls in between the gap between him and Woolfenden an issue - 8/10 #IPSCHE #ITFC
Back to back appearances for the local boy. He's so comfortable on the ball which helps relieve the pressure. Didn't have as much space to bring it out here but performed excellently as the sweeping defender in the three often sniffing out danger at the last minute #IPSCHE #ITFC
Defensively this back three looks so more solid. O'Shea played pretty wide on the right to help double up with Burns and like the Welshman very little got past him. 3/3 tackles won, 5 recoveries, 3 clearances. One rash foul where he was last the only blemish - 8/10 #IPSCHE #ITFC
Wing back isn't a position we see Wes play often but his defensive work today was excellent, 2 tackles, 2 recoveries, 3 interceptions he locked up that left hand side expertly whilst also providing pace down that side to counter - 8/10 #IPSCHE #ITFC

Kept Town's second clean sheet of the season with 4 saves, 4 claims and a goals prevented metric of +1.61. Town's defence looked so much more composed with him behind them and although his passing accuracy is low his kicking was solid - 9/10 #IPSCHE #ITFC
Finally match momentum, which doesn't mean that much. Town were happy to let Chelsea have the ball knowing they'd struggle to break through a low block and utilised pace, power and trickery on the break to create chances at the important times #IPSCHE #ITFC #CFC
