Not to be for #IREM7s falling 26-19 to Arg, not as close as score looked but still a good comp overall and still series pts to be won in 3rd place playoff later.

First ever win over NZL in 7s, first team to beat them in a 7s QF since 2015!!!!

Thoroughly deserved too, surged to 31-0 lead incl Kennedy hat-trick and saw it home winning 36-21, on to SF!!!!

#IREW7s fell 14-24 to AUS in QFs of Cape Town 7s but I tell you what we gave them a game two superb Parsons tries keeping the top seeds honest. Pretty sure we're now in 5th place playoff game.

Massive win for #IREM7s in Cape Town defeating the host Blitzboks 14-12 with two Gavin Mullin tries and yet another bout of absolutely ferocious defending. Their "reward", a QF against NZL but still we've every chance the way we're playing. #IREW7s also through to QFs they play AUS tomorrow.
