We analyzed maternal nutrition interventions in Burkina Faso, Pakistan & Tanzania, finding #BEP shifts human milk composition, increasing B-vitamins & seemingly enriching polyunsaturated fatty acids for neurodevelopment. #misame3 🥛🌍🌏

#ISRHML2024 today beings with a session on BEGIN: Breastmilk Ecology - Genesis of Infant Nutrition

BEGIN has 2 parts:
- A landmark series of papers on what we know (and don't) on this topic
- 4 NIH-funded grants investigating human milk as a biological system
