In Jan 2009, an Israeli tank shell hit Dr Izzeldin Abuelaish’s home, killing his three daughters and one of his nieces .. Early in this war 22 members of his family were killed in Jabaliya refugee camp. He’s a remarkable man. We should all listen to him.

The level of anxiety & frustration I am feeling whilst reading #IShallNotHate by @AbuelaiIzzeldin is unexpectedly high.
I admire his desire to build bridges but I genuinely ask when he says “suffering on both sides” how can he equate the same for both oppressor and oppressed?
