OPP rescue 23 people stranded on ice shelf that separated from shore in Georgian Bay | CBC News Provincial police say 23 people were rescued after a piece of ice they were standing on separated from shore in Georgian Bay.

OPP, MNR, fire crews, paramedics, and an air ambulance service rescued 23 stranded ice fishermen when an ice shelf split on Georgian Bay.

All are expected to make a full recovery.
