I just found a web page showing a map of my city and the street naming guidelines. Each section has a theme.
Sections for:
Birds
Rocks/Minerals
Loveland pioneers
Colorado landmarks
Trees
Colorado streams, rivers, lakes
Aviation
Military
I may have spent much of today working, but it involved fashion, maps and SDG's, so it's all good!
Did I create individual maps to break down each supply chain stage?
Yes, of course I did! 😆

The database used on many of my maps is from the mid-fifties, thus, they are more or less, inaccurate. I know many trippers use electronics for maps but I prefer map and compass.

When I started collecting topographic maps of Northern Ontario, they cost me 1.50 ea. (In mid-seventies dollars). A look at prices today shows over 25.00 each for a waterproof map. I must have the equivalent of 3000.+$ worth of maps under my bed. 1/2

A map of the world some time between 1972 and 1975 hangs on the wall of this weekend property rental. It has amazing how much has changed in my lifetime (just so far). Not to mention, the country I am currently standing in, to look at this map, itself no longer exists. #ILoveMaps
