The moon of Illizar, named Carraig, is the second-largest colony of the Tsuforians, a predominantly subterranean species that spent over ten millennia living underground on Illizar. It was only when population strains occurred in Galactic Year 2433 that the Tsuforians began expanding to the surface of Illizar. This was a difficult transition for the Tsuforians, as millennia of underground evolution had left them with poor eyesight. Despite these challenges, the Tsuforians succeeded in their supraterranean endeavours. Within a century, several major population centre's had developed on the surface of Illizar, as well as further expansions throughout their home system. Carraig was one of these expansions, combining both subterranean and supraterranean city designs. The colony features occasional spires and domes poking out of the moons surface, alongside deep subterranean elements.
