The separated lane empties into a parking lot where the protected lane becomes just paint. As soon as this transition happens, an empty VPD police car is parked in the bike lane.

Bike lanes largely good in JP, Brookline and Cambridge. The bike path on the jp side of the jamaica way path is good, the brookline side and the path north of route 9 is messy though plowed. #bostonbikereport #bostonbikes #inthebikelane
A large, yellow, "Penske Truck Rental" truck parked in a separated bike lane, with a single orange cone placed in front. There are bicycle and bike lane stencils on the ground immediately in front of the truck. There is a low curb to the left of the truck, and a one-way car lane to the left of the low curb.
Thank goodness the danger cone was placed in front, people on bikes might unknowingly run into the big yellow truck parked in the bike lane. "We're only going to be here for a few hours."
